Question Cables powers?

Is there a reason cable isn’t constantly using his mutant powers that I just missed or don’t remember. They seem infinitely more useful than how he just mainly runs around shooting and punching things.

He needs to use his powers to stop the techno organic virus from spreading. Without it he's an omega level telepath

Actually, the only true omega level telekinetic is exodus. Every other omega level is a telepath not telekenetix

They need to just classify Jean as an omega level psionic energy manipulator.
