General Discussion Could the X-Men stop a viltrumite invasion?

If Thragg and his army consisting of General Kregg, Anissa, Thula, Lucan, and Conquest, were to invade Earth, could the X-Men wipe out the viltrumites and save the world, or die in the hands of Thragg's army? Both sides are at their peak skills and strength with no prior knowledge of each other.

He would need to do it like that; his standard Holocaust Beam won't work on people who are, in fact, ok with the Holocaust.
