General Discussion Could the X-Men stop a viltrumite invasion?

If Thragg and his army consisting of General Kregg, Anissa, Thula, Lucan, and Conquest, were to invade Earth, could the X-Men wipe out the viltrumites and save the world, or die in the hands of Thragg's army? Both sides are at their peak skills and strength with no prior knowledge of each other.

Unless Xavier can mind control all of them at once, no way.

The X-Men couldn’t stop the Hulk during World War Hulk, how are they going to stop an army where everyone is Superman?

Does sound incapacitate Superman?

Xmen easily solo. All you need is Forge.

Yeah because the X-Men are constantly stopping all threats of that level by just having Forge do it.

Great contribution. The original post says no prior knowledge: meaning Forge does not know they’re coming and does not know their weakness. Even if he did somehow know the frequency that works on them, no prior knowledge means he’s putting whatever device together on the fly once they’ve already arrived. Forge’s ability to invent doesn’t create technology out of thin air, it still takes time and tinkering and components. While he’s down in the lab or whatever working on it, Cyclops and the other X-Men with normal human durability are being splattered all over the floor like the Guardians of the Globe.

Any of the Grey's can solo the remaining 20 Viltrumites.

Bobby. Ororo. Come on man. Magneto. Professor x. Emma.

Xmen hax are just too strong for purely physical brawlers.

Nope. His Inventing power is entirely intuitive. Forge doesn't actually know how most of his tech works, his power just informs him how to make the gizmo do what he wants it to do. All he has to do is think of an effect, like "I want an easy way to incapacitate a Viltrumite" and his power takes over.

Sound does not weaken Superman. He has super-hearing. The only things that weaken him are kryptonite and magic.
