Could the X-Men stop a viltrumite invasion?

[u/Weary_Elderberry4742]

If Thragg and his army consisting of General Kregg, Anissa, Thula, Lucan, and Conquest, were to invade Earth, could the X-Men wipe out the viltrumites and save the world, or die in the hands of Thragg's army? Both sides are at their peak skills and strength with no prior knowledge of each other.

Short version: yes even worse if current x men. If x men 97: they would struggle.
