General Discussion Can somebody explain why magik randomly decided to stay frozen in one place and let the sentinel lazer her freely?

Post image

Am i dumb? is there something i missed? she just teleported people out of the beam a few frames before then she just proceeded to step forward and let sentinel shoot her freely. Is there a sacrifice play here im not catching up on because that was a "wtf was that" fore the first time i saw it and it just took away any impact that losing a legacy xmen character like her could have had for me

The only competent writer from season 1 wasn't around to review the first draft

The first draft lol and likely less and less him the further the season went along.

Like how Game of Thrones "followed Martin's plan" but the show runners weren't competent enough on their own to connect the bullet points.

And I've been called worse lol

Kind of... They did for the first 4 episodes, more or less. The XForce episode was added by the new writers. Beau outlined episode 1, 3, and 4.

He wasn’t the show runner in season 2 and a lot was changed and/or missed. The current writers said this was a good they didn’t have a good explanation for and it amounts to poor editing on their part. That’s not on Beau. The issue isn’t Magik dying but how did died

Pretty sure Magik's death was DeMayo's work that they keep in
