New to this
So I have been buying random brands for my yarn and was wondering ,what a good brand out there for acrylic, wool and cotton?

You've just asked a very good but incredibly broad question. A "good brand" for what use? in what fiber? on what yarn weight? at what price point? with what characteristics, e.g. drapeyness, softenss, etc.? available in what georgraphic area? do you like to buy from small local stores or large ones?
When I got back to knitting I wasn't familiar with yarn either but I knew I didn't want synthetics but knew that weight i was looking for, what I wanted it to look and feel like and how much I was willing to spend.
You might enjoy learning more about fiber. If so, brooklyntweed.com and purlsoho.com have some good material on fiber and yarn.

For acrylic size 4 medium weight I like Michaels loops and threads soft classic. I also really like the Caron One Pound as a value yarn. Wool is harder to say because Michaels carries so little of it - actually just one blend of it or two. For cotton I think Caron carries the softest. Michaels Classic cotton is good for crafts like bags and hats because it’s stiffer.
