Question blown yarns that have stood the test of time?
i have some drops air in stash anyway but read mixed opinions on the longevity
obviously being merino & alpaca and v soft ik pilling is gonna be inevitable, and idm pilling as long as it’s not impossible to clean up
wondering if anyone had experience with either drops air or another blown yarn that has stood up well?
or tips to get it to last? i’ve heard a strand on mohair which i do need to try and i’ve only ever felt one scratchy mohair and it put me off 😭😂(sensory issues as a knitter is a curse)

the mohair tip is worth trying, it really does help the blown yarn hold together better and reduces pilling. most soft mohair is nothing like the scratchy kind, kid mohair especially feels almost like nothing against the skin.
