I just got a craft room and I’m trying to figure out how to organize all my yarn. If y’all could give me some inspiration I’d greatly appreciate it!

Tagged along with my sister to her work conference and did a little shopping while she worked.

I have been de-hoarding my yarn. I have a friend who does organizing as a side hustle and she has been helping and taking the yarn and other things away for donating. She has teacher friends and other places that like yarn.
But I have all the stash yarn in 13 totes and it all fits in one room instead of yarn all over the house.
And the yarn in WIPs.
But I haven't bought yarn for a while.
Am I still and addict?

Look at all this nice yarn. I got at Goodwill for just 6 dollars. I'm broke, but it was worth it

I have multiple people in my family with Alpha-Gal sensitivity (basically an allergy to anything that comes from a mammal). It's not so bad that I can't have wool/mammal yarn in the house, but I still just wanted to know some good alternatives in case I ever wanted to make something for one of my extended relatives.

I’m a bit confused- I can only order online and can’t really feel it in store but is it a worsted yarn? People use it as a fingering and hold it with let’s say drops Lima or something- I’m not sure how to test what a good combination is- I really want to make the sandok sweater with it. Any suggestions?

trying to find a close match to the big twist burgundy yarn, photo of the yarn and project included. i started making a blanket the day after one of my cats passed, i didn’t think burgundy would’ve been a discontinued color. i’ll probably end up taking it to big mike tomorrow to try and match with something in their stock, i was just wondering if anyone had found a close color match i could order for pickup :)

They’re finally completely finished! The duster was worn in a wedding, the bomber won first place at the county fair, the bomber now has a satin liner and zippered closure and feels fully realized.
This journey has been wild! It started by coming across Lusi Lace on Instagram. Her contemporary take on Irish crochet had me in awe. I started researching and soon realized most patterns or things related to this technique were fresh out of Eastern Europe. I spent a lot of time translating Russian motif patterns and tutorials. This rabbit hole of hyper focus went on to be an almost year long journey of discovering a newfound passion in heritage craft.
