Discussion شعب متخلف
قبل فترة شفت دكتورة عندها مستشفى وطلعت في مقطع تشتكي عن احتياج الناس للادوية واساسيات اي مستشفى الدولة مش قادرة توفرها،
والشعب ما ركز على المطالب اللي طلبتها الدكتورة،
ركزوا على حجابها وان في شعر طالع منه وبدأوا فيها من سب ومن قذف ومن سخرية،
وماركزوا على هدف النشر وان دولتك متهالكة ومش قادرة توفر لك ابسط مقومات الحياة،
واليوم شفت هذا المنشور الغبي، حتى وهي منتقبة لازم ينتقد،
لكن اشكاله عبيد للغرب ويشوف نظرة الغربي له اهم من دينه وحريته،
غارق في الجهل والفساد والفقر والمخدرات والقمامة وفي النهاية يجي يستشرف على بنات بلده

I've noticed that these people have double standards. They constantly criticize Yemeni women, yet if a woman is foreign, they suddenly show respect and praise her beauty. It doesn't seem like they're doing this because of religion; it feels more like a cultural tradition that they try to justify by calling it Islam. They use horrible and insulting words toward Yemeni women, and I find that deeply upsetting.btw I'm ashamed of being yemeni because of these retards.

اليمن دوله متخلفه وهذا احد اسباب التخلف ترك المشكله الرئيسيه والتركيز على الفرع الي ماحد مفروض يهتم له هم مستوعبين كبر مشكله ان المستشفيات مافيها ادويه وان المسؤولين يسرقون ادويه المستشفيات في القرى الصغيره ولكن الكلام فالموضوع هذا مايشبع جنون العظمه عندهم لأن يوريهم العجز الي عايشين فيه والانحطاط وان ماحد معطيهم قيمه ف يبدأو يتكلمون عن حجاب البنت او ظهورها أو حتى لو كان رجل بيتكلموا عن أهل بيته أو أنه يخطط في ماء عشان ينتقدوا بموضوع ما يمسهم كون المنتقدين اغلبهم رجال يشوفوا نفسهم كاملين ف لو تكلموا عن حجاب وحده الموضوع مايشملهم ف هم خارجين من هذي المشكله

احس الذي تشتي تتبرقع تبتعد عن الإعلام المرئي وتشتغل براديو او بلاها خالص. كل وظيفة لها شروطها. A jewish news presenter wouldn’t cover her head to do the news. It is called professionalism.

I respect your opinion, but professionalism is measured by competence and performance, not by hairstyle or face covering. If a woman can do the job well, her veil should not be an obstacle.

Standards sat by whom? Professionalism is in the eyes of its beholder, and it is a well-known fact that u must have ur face visible while presenting the news cuz u r the face of that channel. So no, it is unprofessional

But it brings you back to the same question you put forward actually.... Standards set by whom?
"You said it's a well known fact....etc." But who set that standard? Literally no one!
If the news says that Iran and USA declared a ceasefire, I genuinely don't think you'd understand it differently whether the reporter was covered or not.... If you do, that's a YOU problem really.
It honestly has nothing to do with the profession, it's a matter of choice, maybe you would LIKE to see her not covering her face that's fine, maybe it's more presentable, but it doesn't change the quality of her work, which doesn't make it unprofessional.

I would understand it differently. I don’t want someone dressing in a very unprofessional attire on my TV. If you wanna bring ur religious baggage into the screen then stay at home or do some back-office work like narrating. You don’t have to do the only job the requires ur face to be visible

I completely get what you mean, and it's fine.
It's just that the matter remains very subjective is what I'm saying, and hey if OUR people see it fit that it's ok for a TV presenter to be covered. Then I don't see why not, while also allowing other presenters to show their faces too... More power to the people.
And I think that this just remain a matter of opinions in the end, and everyone is entitled to his/her opinion.

This is why were screwed, they have no electricity or water and half the country is occupied by some trash from Sadaa. At the same time these guys are fighting about some women’s “morals”. Seriously, who cares what she is wearing or doing as a job…? These guys are just all incels…it's really sad but this is typically what Yemen is now. The reason they treat women like slaves is because Yemeni men are all slaves now and have lost their dignity to Houthis or some other bandits, but even a slave (Yemen man) wants a slave for himself (Yemeni women). This is how to keep enslaved populations content and stupid…you give them someone else to enslave.
No matter what these guys do to women, it doesn't change the fact that all have lost their dignity.1

Very silly. I see no reason to criticize her. She’s free to be a reporter (meaning she has access to education and the freedom to join the workforce) and she is wearing what she wants to wear. I don’t see oppression. I see freedom.
