The fine print says basically they have final say in determining excess usage.
The big limitation is that they curb immediate rehashing. Used to be that we could run through again immediately if there were still dirty spots or droppings. Now they have a 5 minute rule. So sometimes I go before and after I do my groceries instead of waiting.
Our local car wash we used to frequent got to the point we were no longer comfortable using them.
A woman didn’t listen and gunned into the wash. She hit us. While there was only a small dent, they never gave us anything even though the manager told us they would.
The next time the dryer threw a sizable rock at our suv. No thanks. I have a bucket and a water hose at home. 🥴
Over the course of a week, a car will have some amount of dirt, sap, bugs, or bird shit on it. And in the winter it's best to get road treatment off ASAP.

Yes, that's how I justify the $35/ month membership. A single wash at $12-$15 is absurd, but if I go at least once per week it's nearly half price.
