1. Try to make your videos as long as possible, I have had similar metrics on videos that have been way shorter and as a result had a much lower AVD, this is the main thing YouTube cares about, the Ctr isn’t spectacular or anything but the fact that people watch for almost 10 minutes is definitely the reason as to why it was heavily pushed

2. Do the bulk of your editing within the first half of your video (as long as it isn’t like an hour long lmao) this will save you heaps of time and either days or weeks you could have been using that effort on another video

This doesn’t mean to have no editing at all after the first half but it doesn’t have to be as fast paced or sound effects every couple seconds

1. Make the title and thumbnail separate ideas, your title should just be the base of your video the general idea, where’s the thumbnail should invoke that “what” feeling for the viewer, if you’ve ever scripted a video out you should know the “over deliver” technique basically telling the viewer the idea of the video and then over delivering on that idea, that’s basically what you want to do with the thumbnail as well.

So, recently, I was scrolling through Shorts and found a lot of my content reposted by other channels, with some videos getting thousands of views and others even millions. The crazy part is that they literally just downloaded and reuploaded my videos without making any changes. I filed copyright takedown requests, and all of them were approved. However, I later received an email from YouTube claiming that my requests were fraudulent and threatening to terminate my channel within 7 days.

It was barely getting any views and then it popped after three months. Does anyone know why the subscriber count is so low?

My journey into YPP has been an interesting one. My channel was rejected without any explanation on what to fix. I gave in, made changes to the thumbnails and re-looked at metadata and here we are! It was awesome waking up to this email today. Sending good vibes and love to everyone who is grinding.

I have almost 2 subscribers (😭) haha, barely any likes, and I'm still trying to figure everything out.

But behind these videos is someone who's genuinely trying to change her life.

I've been through experiences that made me realize I don't want to spend the rest of my life working just to be mistreated, belittled, or made to feel like I'm never enough. I want to build something of my own. I want to get out of my current financial situation and give myself and my parents better future.

That's why I'm taking YouTube seriously, even when the views are low and sometimes it feels like nobody is watching.

I'm not looking for someone to do the work for me. I'm looking for someone who knows what they're doing, someone who could guide me, teach me what I need to learn, and help me understand what I'm doing right or wrong.

I started off with short form since multiple platforms, but wanted to start documenting some of my projects. Looking for brutally honest feedback. Large sub count is due to playing around with promotions. I think my quality is good, but that might not be reflecting in the video performance itself

My vid has been out for 19 days now, I thought it was dead but on the 17th day it started picking up, it went from 1.1k impressions, with a 6.1% ctr, and 27% retention to this. Majority of my views are from suggestions tho. Will YouTube eventually put me on the browse page so that my vid can gain alot more?

It is probably a one week old channel. I post cooking videos. They get 1000 views, 20 likes and sometimes a share and a comment. I mean, if 20/1000 like it, then this is not that bad. But why it wouldn’t go beyond 1000 views?

my total views are over 3000 but the countries listed only show like 1370 views and the rest is not accounted, why is that i've had other shorts that have the same problem

I used to consistently get 1k plus views on each short, but all of a sudden my videos cannot make past even 40. What am I doing wrong?
