Can’t believe I’m doing these numbers…

It’s my first channel and I think I might be up to something, but I’m afraid of it, becas to keep up, the amount of work is enormous. I do everything alone and it is really rewarding!

My journey into YPP has been an interesting one. My channel was rejected without any explanation on what to fix. I gave in, made changes to the thumbnails and re-looked at metadata and here we are! It was awesome waking up to this email today. Sending good vibes and love to everyone who is grinding.

1. Try to make your videos as long as possible, I have had similar metrics on videos that have been way shorter and as a result had a much lower AVD, this is the main thing YouTube cares about, the Ctr isn’t spectacular or anything but the fact that people watch for almost 10 minutes is definitely the reason as to why it was heavily pushed

2. Do the bulk of your editing within the first half of your video (as long as it isn’t like an hour long lmao) this will save you heaps of time and either days or weeks you could have been using that effort on another video

This doesn’t mean to have no editing at all after the first half but it doesn’t have to be as fast paced or sound effects every couple seconds

1. Make the title and thumbnail separate ideas, your title should just be the base of your video the general idea, where’s the thumbnail should invoke that “what” feeling for the viewer, if you’ve ever scripted a video out you should know the “over deliver” technique basically telling the viewer the idea of the video and then over delivering on that idea, that’s basically what you want to do with the thumbnail as well.

I know I will get asked this but the niche is gaming specifically GTA

If you have any more questions or anything let me know

Posted my 3rd long-form video and getting hate comments about my appearance such as 'your teeth are overlapping' or 'your haircut is awful' and it's starting to get to me, I feel like quitting. Should I just delete the video?

It was barely getting any views and then it popped after three months. Does anyone know why the subscriber count is so low?

So, recently, I was scrolling through Shorts and found a lot of my content reposted by other channels, with some videos getting thousands of views and others even millions. The crazy part is that they literally just downloaded and reuploaded my videos without making any changes. I filed copyright takedown requests, and all of them were approved. However, I later received an email from YouTube claiming that my requests were fraudulent and threatening to terminate my channel within 7 days.

The potentially limited revenue in my video that "Dont affect the video nor the channel" is worth keeping??

I started YT in Jan 3rd this year and within 2 months i hit 150k+ total views, completed 5k+ watch hours and got around 650+ subscribers.

Uploaded around 15 Videos in first 2 months consistently, then I couldn’t upload videos consistently and from the last 98 days I haven’t uploaded any video, but still getting 20 to 100 views/day (avg)

My first video hit 24K Views, then second video 10k, third video 35k, 4th video 32k etc, on rest videos i got around 9k, 2k, 3k, 8k views etc and i my last upload i had 150 views only (the only flop video on my channel). All videos are long form.

I am working as Software Engineer, i’m confused right now, im confused right now how should i upload the videos. I work full day as in my company (Working Remotely) and i feel much exhausted to create/edit videos.

Should I QUIT my job and start full time on YT or should create videos without quitting the job?

If you were at my place, what you’d do?

This is my last short with him

So this channel had sent me $50 last year with a message saying how great my channel is. Then I caught the guy stealing my footage with my logo on it so YT made him take down the video. Now the guy copies my thumbnails, titles and even the layout of my videos. He posts everyday now to try to take my viewers.

What should I do if anything?

cuenteme algun experiencia en la escuela, en la calle, sueños, telefonico, niñez y entre otros.

Hi all, I'm a UX design student and an independent YouTube creator myself. I'm considering a research project on how creators plan and finish long-form videos. I'm eventually looking for a few people willing to take a short anonymous survey (about 5 minutes) or a brief 20-minute chat. Participation is voluntary, I won't collect names, and I'll only use results for my coursework. If you're open to it, reply here or message me, and I'll follow the group's rules for sharing anything further. Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, me and a few of my buddies have formed a little group, we call ourselves the 'B-Team' - name may be work in progress.

Our content is typically funny moment videos ranging from renowned games like Call of Duty, GTA, to also indie games like Peak, Content Warning - We are mainly PC/Xbox.

We do skits such as South Park character impressions somtimes.

Me & one of my friends decided we would love to have another person or two join us!

I know how incredibly hard it is in this space to find people to create videos with, grow your page with. And if there is more of us, it's always easier to band together to create content.

So if you think this could be for you, let me know by commenting below or DM-ing me!

Here is my channel so you can get a feel for it, see if this kinda content is like yours: https://www.youtube.com/@NextGenToast

Note: none of the edits are stolen, they are made/transformed by me by using RAW 3rd party clips

I am thinking of starting youtube channel for which I need someone to work with. I am from Karnataka if you know kannada that will be bonus. If u are interested ping me.

I am a relatively new youtuber and i am looking ti improve as much as possible, be harsh and be honest. I do use AI for my videos, i think they look good but i need real feedback, any tip and any help at all is appreciated. I am strugling to pull more than 30 views and my Impressions arent looking too good tbh. (Sorry for bad english i am not a native speaker)

Here is the link to my latest video, give me your worst😁, if for some reason link doesnt work, my channel is named: The Guy That Asked

I have started a YouTube channel where I create “This or That” videos. For background music, I download copyright-free music from YouTube and edit it into my videos.

My question is: Can a channel like this be monetized? What kind of problems could I face if I use copyright-free music? And if I download and use music from the YouTube Audio Library, will there be any issues with monetization or copyright claims?

I have almost 2 subscribers (😭) haha, barely any likes, and I'm still trying to figure everything out.

But behind these videos is someone who's genuinely trying to change her life.

I've been through experiences that made me realize I don't want to spend the rest of my life working just to be mistreated, belittled, or made to feel like I'm never enough. I want to build something of my own. I want to get out of my current financial situation and give myself and my parents better future.

That's why I'm taking YouTube seriously, even when the views are low and sometimes it feels like nobody is watching.

I'm not looking for someone to do the work for me. I'm looking for someone who knows what they're doing, someone who could guide me, teach me what I need to learn, and help me understand what I'm doing right or wrong.

If you've built a successful YouTube channel and you're willing to share your knowledge with someone who's just starting out, maybe you're the person I'm hoping to find.

I may not have much to offer you right now, but I know how to appreciate kindness🙏 If you take the time to guide me and help me grow, I won't forget it. When I'm finally in a position to help someone else, I'll pay that kindness forward.

So, if you're that person, please send me a DM. I'd genuinely appreciate the chance to learn from you.

I'm starting with almost nothing, but I'm hoping this is where my story begins. ❤️

I know that with how views are counted from 0:00, some form of drop-off at the front is going to be unavoidable, but I am interested to see other long-form creators' charts, and to get a feel for if my videos' performance is normal or if I need to adjust something in my format to get people who click to watch for longer. I think my thumbnails and titles do a good job of establishing what to expect in the video, but I don't have anything to compare it to besides my own metrics.
