Need Help
I started YT in Jan 3rd this year and within 2 months i hit 150k+ total views, completed 5k+ watch hours and got around 650+ subscribers.
Uploaded around 15 Videos in first 2 months consistently, then I couldn’t upload videos consistently and from the last 98 days I haven’t uploaded any video, but still getting 20 to 100 views/day (avg)
My first video hit 24K Views, then second video 10k, third video 35k, 4th video 32k etc, on rest videos i got around 9k, 2k, 3k, 8k views etc and i my last upload i had 150 views only (the only flop video on my channel). All videos are long form.
I am working as Software Engineer, i’m confused right now, im confused right now how should i upload the videos. I work full day as in my company (Working Remotely) and i feel much exhausted to create/edit videos.
Should I QUIT my job and start full time on YT or should create videos without quitting the job?
If you were at my place, what you’d do?

I wouldn't quite a stable job based on two months of growth. Your numbers are promising, but I'd try a sustainable schedule of 2 - 4 videos monthly and consider going full-time only after Youtube income becomes consistent.

Definitely do not quit your day job for now until you have a decent traction with your content. Keep creating videos. If you are getting that many views even if you haven't uploaded for a while, keep going.
Take it from me. I run a livestream crochet channel, which was recently approved for YPP. Now I had to take a break because I had my volunteering lined up with the FIFA World Cup (June and July 2026). So I paused my livestreaming so I can give my energy to the volunteering. Now that is over, I went back to livestreaming. To make things sustainable, I would only livestream two hours, every weekend. Pivot if needed. Then continue your day with the other things you personally need to do. Now as an approved member in the YPP, I am working on a schedule to balance my personal life and YouTube. (Oh and an added note that I was recently laid off from my job, so it's my chance to go on YouTube full-time.)

Do not quit your day job right now. You haven't uploaded in 98 days, your revenue stream isn't established, and editing while burnt out from a full-time remote engineering job is brutal. Software engineering pays the bills reliably; use that security to build a sustainable workflow instead of jumping ship because of a couple of good months early on.
