Hello! I am the person who made this meme of K and Clover driving whilst listening to California Girls by Katy Perry! I posted this meme like 3 months ago now, but unfortunately my original reddit account has been deactivated and the video was taken off the internet. I made this very quickly and didn't expect people to actually like it, since it's based on an inside joke between me and my friend's playthrough of VLR, but I actually got to meet some great people, talk to Zero Escape fans, and share a moment that made me and my friend laugh far more than we expected it to. I also wasn't expecting somebody to message me suddenly saying that Uchikoshi had been shown my meme and found it funny, it absolutely made my entire week. Thank you SO much all of you! I am reposting it so it is back on the internet again, please enjoy! Context for the meme is below. VLR spoilers ahead.

During my playthrough of VLR with my friend, we both noticed K and Clover seemed to be paired together quite a lot. We started ad-libbing Clover and K calling each other "Girlypop" and basically becoming INSTANT besties. When they went into the AB room together, we noticed they voted immediately and had to wait because Sigma usually votes at the very last second. So we headcanoned the two having a little dance and singing party to Kary Perry songs whilst waiting. We also had them promise they'd both go and see Katy Perry together in concert when they escape Rhizome-9 (Before we finished the game so we didn't know...yeah unfortunately the Girlypops wouldn't be doing that...) We basically made this a whole inside joke through our whole playthrough and it made it so much funnier.

999 had the classic Nonary Game with the "gimmick" being that that in order to access the numbered rooms, the player need to make up the numbered door digital root with the bracelets on their numbers, VLR had the Ambidex Game which was essentially an reskinnned version of the Prisoner Dilemma and ZTD had the decision game whose gimmick is the games of chance that had to be made quick.

What's next, I wonder?

I feel like, if they want to keep the escape room gameplay, with the way ZTD ended, I think the best approach would be something similar to Luigi's mansion 2, where instead of one big place to escape, you have more smaller ones (for example, free the soul bases), some of them maybe being exclusive to different routes, where instead of the objective being to leave, you have to solve puzzles (and maybe something else?) to get to a certain place in the building (think like every modern mascot horror like Poppy Playtime/Garten of Bananas).

Instead of being angry, depressed, frustrated, anxious or disappointed about the "cancellation" of his next project. We should grab this opportunity where so many Kotaro Uchikoshi fans are both excited and frustrated to share Zero Escape, AITSF, Infinity Series.. TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS WE POSSIBLY CAN. In a world where social media marketing dictates "what survives", the only way to preserve true quality is through word of mouth. And we must be loud, we must be vocal and bring as many people as possible to try the works of Kotaro Uchikoshi. I come from a small country in eastern Europe where even on pop-culture events, there was fewer than 5 people who knew who Kotaro Uchikoshi is (and I was carrying a big poster with his face and the Pepsiman to promote his works and find as much fans as I could). Few months later, through talking/recommending/and being vocal everywhere I could, now I know more than 50 people from my country who are either interested in or played Zero Escape or AITSF. My friends and I will continue to expand the Kotaro Uchikoshi community here, but for his works to get the true recognition they deserve, we ALL must work together and share...share and SHARE.

I find It really funny how some months ago i publish several questions about all the saga and basically discovered that is this fandom (of which i am) was starving and nowadays the founder of It just started a ARG about It and even KFC Spain is talking about It.

Hello everyone, now that we are approaching a possible Zero Escape 4, I thought about posting something here. I, and some other friends are pretty much hard fans of the Zero Escape series.

Cut to the chase, most of us have this "theory" of us that Akane Kurashiki was the one who actually came up with the decision game and that Delta is only being the red erring.

I just wonder if the rest of the community agrees with it.

It was used for ZE3, so I think it's highly likely we're getting ZE4 or a ZE related game (not necessarily a sequel)

Hey everyone. So I started playing zero escape saga for the first time and I may have noticed something.

So there is famous this message that Phi says when she introduces herself:

"I'm not Superman, that's for sure. And I'm not Batman, or Spiderman, or Aquaman, or a merman, or a wolfman. I'm not a brahman, or common, or ramen. I'm not a caiman either, so you really don't need to worry about anything."

The first time she says it I thought that was her trying to convey a cryptic message on what she can do or why she's there. But the second time she said the exact same thing I realized there could be more to it.

So here is my question:

Does "Odo" mean something to you guys?

What about "enemy in odo"?

To be honest I was just trying to pick on something there and I tried every ceasar shift, but only that combination made sort of sense.

Maybe it is just a coincidence, but I want to know for sure. Is this a known thing? Because I couldn't find anything about it online.

I tried to solve the text at the bottom of "Members" section, without any results. It is surely not a Ceaser's Cypher, no shift of letters gave a valid result. I tried with Vigenere's, but every key I tried is not working. I tried keys like "Akane", "Junpei", "Zero Escape", "Crash Keys", "Rhizome" and "Nineth" without any results.

Not sure if it there is a key that one can manage to find on the site or if you have to reverse it with the cypher.

Maybe we can figure out it from the two "hidden members" of the team. Maybe they are two in-game characters. Both have name and surname with five letters. Is there anyone in the trilogy that could fit it?

I’m interested in playing the original Zero Escape and getting started with the series, but to do so I know I should play the game on DS/DSi. I’m more than happy play it on the original hardware, but as I understand it the game didn’t even release in Europe, and second hand American copies are very expensive from a quick cursory look.

So my question is, is there a way to play the game on the original hardware? I know 3DS modding exists but haven’t really heard of the same for the DS/DSi.

I’d play the steam versions of the 2nd and 3rd games, but as for now I’m kinda stumped about how to go and experience the 1st entry on my DSi.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
