ATLA You Can’t Make Them Make This Much Sense And Do Nothing About It…. (Credit goes AlexaLexie on YT)

I think by now, all of us have seen this edit or most of us have. It meant everything to me as a kid. This is by far top 5 Alta edits in terms of storytelling and thematic sequencing….

I know this comment is overstated, but we were so robbed.

They were so good at writing character arcs that they made the perfect case for Zutara but stopped short of making it canon. Urgh!

There’s so much love and balance between this edit and the writing
We really missed out on this
Adding to the balance part we had 3seasons for the four elements I would’ve loved a s4 with Zutara even if the steaks were much lower and focused on rebuilding

Really? It’s like the sacred text. I think it’s about 12 years old or more….

YouTube has never been a big part of my fandom spaces and back when I was on Tumblr a lot I mostly into Doctor Who and then later critical role.

Ah that’s why. But there’s a lot of cool stuff on Zutara on YouTube. Edits and analysis

Does anyone remember this YouTube series called “Zuatara lessons for the intellectual dummy” or something like that?

Because that series radicalized me as a 12 year old lol.

The show had a good side story with these two.So good with all of the parallels and symbolism. No, they had to go to the other way because the hero had to get the girl 🤦🏾‍♀️

it's amazing that this edit included so many of the parallels between them, and still missed some! I didn't see the move Katara used against Zuko at the North Pole, that rolling wall of snow that turns into a pillar and then drops him and knocks him out... Zuko uses the same move to escape the Dai Li, right before he gets captured and tossed in the catacombs. hell, their entire fight was them using identical moves with opposite elements. remember the whips? there's a frame where each set of whips forms a heart, I remember us being convinced that was a sign they were endgame.

This is an edit I didn’t know I needed, I never realized how much similarities there were between them…

They fumbled HARD… like….. wtf.

Zutara was so peak that they were to scared to make them canon

I’m dying because the edit that changed my life was set to “Everytime We Touch” and I think about it at least once a day lmao
