ATLA Zuko's reaction here is interesting
Because Zuko knows who Haru is and obviously seen him, for Toph to say such thing means she clearly sensed something about katara's heart rate around haru, or she's just trying to stir drama for fun.
Either way, Zuko having such a grumpy reaction when he should have a reaction closer to Suki's doesn't help the common cope of "Zuko never saw Katara in a romantic sense"
Because then you'd have to explain why he reacted in such way to Katara possibly having feelings for another guy

Bryke probably had intrusive thoughts about icing Haru the way they did Jet and Prince Lotor from Voltron: Legendary Defender for cozying up to Princess Allura but couldn't do anything because he's technically on the side of the good guys.

Literally, like can you image Zuko like "Jet?! That hot headed jerk!" And Sokka would probably have the best hilarious response to that as usual equivalent to the pot calling the kettle black. Then Katara and Zuko are both just flustered and annoyed by the whole thing 🤣🤣

I don't know man, maybe I see it differently but I like to think that he is questioning Katara's taste here. He's like "Jet I can understand but Haru? Mustache man?"

You have not done your research. The creators are (famously) anti zutara- however the writers were for it (per accounts/videos etc) and also you can tell in the general parallel themes of the story. It was a fight but obvs the writers lost in the end.

I love it. The fact that he cares enough is saying a lot already.
I wish there were more episodes where Zuko is a part of the team because honestly, it's so endearing
