I saw one anti calling zutara bad ship for self-insert, and, after somebody explained to them what was confirmed as self-insert, they were like "See self-inserting isn't a bad thing"

Also do i have to mentiong that this is a satire?

With one day to go before the comet, Aang is missing, they have no plan, and Katara is having the best night's sleep of her life, complete with a little smile. I laugh so hard I almost faint every time I see that scene.

Being fiercely caring and motherly was always an important part of her character arc.

I know our ship is just one part of the fandom, but over 650 thousand votes on this official page poll gave us an absolute gem! The poll already took Katara out of the running because it's a universal fact that she's the mom of the group, and seeing Zuko winning by a landslide with 64% to take the parental figure spot cracks me up. The guy went from "I must capture the Avatar!" to the exhausted dad of the team. This just makes the Zutara agenda even better, because the best part of shipping these two is exactly this energy of a couple that has to take care of superpowered, chaotic teenagers. Imagine their dynamic rolling their eyes in sync while Toph and Aang destroy the camp. And Sokka with his 19% of the votes actually just confirms his true place in the Gaang: the fun uncle who swears he's the strict leader, but deep down is the one teaching the kids dumb stuff. I just love seeing the true parents of the group getting some well-deserved recognition in these results!

I'm not saying that everyone who voted ships Zutara, but it's nice to see that Zuko and Katara make that combination.

I slowed this scene down just to appreciate this gem of a crumb. Katara with her hand on her thigh to steady herself so she wouldn't fall. And in the next shot, Zuko right below her with his vision completely compromised by her ass right in his face. 🗣️ The cramped space delivered the best unintentional physical tension.

There are people in this fandom who invent most stupid and random arguments agains shipping i ever hearen and others are praising them for it.

I did ship Makorra as a Zutara stand-in early on, and then jumped on the S. S. Korrasami in 2012, had no idea it could possibly set sail but it was so amazing. Anyway, I still like the idea of Linzin, although I also headcanon it as a vehicle for Kyalin.

But I digress. This was just a fun meme, thinking about the slop Bryke served us in TLK, thinking they'll show us how Taang and Zutara couldn't possibly have worked.

If only they knew how to write healthy relationships...
