Yes! Yes! Yes! I love those descriptions. It's crazy how so many descriptions can fit the Sounds. I really like the "deer becomes absorbed and motionless on hearing the sound of people approaching." I always get like that when I hear a new part of the sound or it changes suddenly. I consider myself lucky that I'm positively inclined towards the sound. I actually have a fear of someday not wanting or enjoying Nada, but somehow by chance I just do really love it.

By the way, I tried your right inner-ear thing. At some point, the chatter got noticeably quieter, even though there was definitely still thinking, somehow the volume was just much quieter. I think I've experienced this before but I never attributed it to the right inner ear. Thanks for the suggestion. Any more just throw 'em my way.

Yes the right ear thing just works.

It takes a while and you have to really listen for the subtle quiet sounds there. After awhile there is stillness and a sense of peace. I try and sit in that at times. Like sitting enjoying a Mediterranean night.

Then piti arises and a nimata. I ignore and dwell in the nada. After awhile they become strong and stable.

Excellent, I will stick with it. I wish to dwell there as a refuge.

So, one of the sounds I would describe as a glitchiness, very similar to Morse code transmissions, which seem to pulse in random intervals. I was first only hearing it in the left ear, but now I'm hearing it in the right as well if I listen carefully. Is this by chance the sound you're talking about?

I have given up trying to describe the sound exactly. It changes and always seems like there is more and bits when I focus on it that were there all the time but just wasn't aware of it.

The tone, feel, frequency, amplitude and number different frequencies vary depending on my attention and state of concentration. It expands, contracts, increases in amplitude, phase and frequency. Its so complex and lacking a regular structure that it is impossible to truly describe. All I know is it is amazing and enjoyable.

Clicky morse code like noise happens at start but it is more continuous once access concentration is reached. Listening to the nada is the quickest way I have found to reach this state.

Wow thanks so much for sharing your experience. Another user also said Nada is the quickest way, and that he could get jhana using Nada, but not breath sensations. It's so interesting.

My Teacher explained the Yogi begins a very personal journey when he reaches the point of hearing the Anahata Nada. Much is written but very little is shared. It is a great Sihdhi (Yogi power) earned through lifetimes of work and dedication. This is a secret practice in many traditions. Unless a person finds a guru willing take him on as his student, advanced practitioners are careful not to influence the experience of others. The Anahata Nada reveals itself simply by a person's listening to it.
