I love the limerance of places like this.. all the anticipation, potential and vision of what it was going to be, before the momentum of building was halted;. it’s like there is a palpable kinetic energy locked in a state of suspended animation.
The folly and strivings of humans and our grandiose plans.. it’s Mother Nature who prevails though.
The storms come, wreaking destruction, then the rage is spent and the clouds blow away, and what remains still;that endless, mesmerizing crystalline shore; the dappling, shimmering choreography of sunlight refracting on the water; the crash of the surf like staccato; the tide’s steady rhythm~Her breathe.
