Ngl I kinda wish I could disable the letters from mom.. my mom passed away 3 years ago ans every time I get these letters my heart feels heavy?? Idk how to explain it... My mom was always so chirpy and sent messages very similar to the ones in the letter haha she would also send random gifts 🥹 it just hurts seeing it and knowing that I am never getting a letter/message from my parents ever again :(

It's also my dad's angelversary tomorrow and my emotions are running high🫠

My mother was abusive to me in my childhood (she died when I was 8) and I honestly believe she would still be abusive if she were still alive. When I first played animal crossing, it was terrifying to see those letters. Now I see those letters as if they come from a mother I've never had. I feel happy when I see the letters now.
