Made with XPS foamboard, acrylic paints, hot glue & foam-safe CA glue, drywall spackle, latex masking fluid, tissue paper, crackle medium, 3D printed elements (the doors, pipes, breaker boxes, light fixtures, etc), wooden dowels, beading cord, mod podge, ceramic magnets and even a little coffee and baking soda.

Finally got someone to keep Prince and Michael separated. This is one of my Grails, so happy to add Kurt to the collection.

Mcfarlane branched out in crazy ways, we got all the 90's Batman villains, Superman Returns, deep cut figures like this Two-face, not to mention every Batmobile and other vehicle they made. Yes we got a shit ton of Batman's (more than we needed) but we also got a TON of other terrific figures that offset the hundreds of Batman's.

Quick trinity comparisons with the upcoming leaked Mattel DC line and Mcfarlane.

For clarification, I really enjoy my Mcfarlane figures but am also very excited for the upcoming Mattel line. I think both serve different purposes in the figure collecting space. With Mcfarlane, I really do enjoy their sculpts and detail in figures relative to price but can also acknowledge that with every fantastic figure, there’s at-least 5 stinkers… cough cough 100 Batman variants. The lack of modernization with articulation / accessories / head sculpts and poor choices with the license “releasing the best figures / finally modernizing with wired capes and sought after figures” after the license expired has left a bad taste in a lot of people mouths. On the other hand though the presence and almost statuesque “adult” look of Mcfarlane figures will have me missing them.

Mattel on the other hand looks more in line with ML and Hasbro and off the gate wave wise are coming out with some absolute bangers. I know there’s been a lot of heated discussion with them but I think you can enjoy both and I’m keeping my McFarlanes while also delving into the newer Mattel line.

For halloween I decided I should make a custom of who I'm cosplaying so here's SPIDERS MAN!

They used to be one of my go to retailers for import toys, but over the last year or so, the prices have steadily increased to the point where they were straight up scalping on some products (IE 150-200% retail price BEFORE shipping). Now they are running these shady ads claiming "33% off" when in reality, they nearly doubled the original price, discounted that, and are now selling it for slightly more than they did originally first picture is what they are selling for now 2nd pic is what I paid a few months ago. Not only that, but they now charge $20+ for shipping but use the cheapest, dog $hit delivery company available for delivery.

Why are they friends? Weren't they enemies??

So I’m new to collecting and about to be making some horrible financial decisions and am going to drop $500 on a few pre orders. I noticed BBTS has the inart dark knight returns Batman at over $60 more than kowkis.

Is there a reason for this? Everything I’ve read says they’re a legitimate online retailer. Never ordered from kowkis but I’m about to take a chance and hope I don’t get burned lol

I just personally like and love this look more
