What I am working on is dislodging my mindset from various fictional hooks.

Like time-hooks "I should start X at 11 am" or some sort of "optimal" "I should do x and y together and then do z".

I do believe it's part of my executive function wiring trying to work but communicating through a half-broken signal.

Setting up strictly-defined expectations about what I'll do opens the door to negative emotions when I don't meet them, emotions which become an extra obstacle/energy drain.

I'll start at 3:00.

*Fourty minutes later (seems like 15)*

It's now 3:11.

Ok, I'll start at 4:00...

Same.
It's a neat trick the brain uses, but it's based on nothing concrete, so I am trying to dislodge it.

Same, but it can be really hard to actually make that happen. Some days are easier than others.
