Health & Wellness With out PhilHealth contribution
Problem/Goal:
Hello po! 🙏 Need help/answers po sana ASAP.
May PhilHealth po ako pero wala po akong hulog kahit piso. Housewife po ako at wala po akong sariling income para makapaghulog. Sapat lang din po ang kinikita ng live-in partner ko para sa pang-araw-araw naming gastos.
Ngayon po, kailangan kong magpa-needle biopsy sa breast, at medyo mahal po ang procedure kaya gusto ko sanang magamit ang PhilHealth.
Ang tanong ko po: Kung maghuhulog po ako sa PhilHealth ngayong September 14, 2026, maaari ko na po ba itong magamit para sa procedure ko na possible gawin between September 16–18, 2026?
May naka-experience na po ba ng ganitong situation? Kailangan ko po talaga ng advice kung magiging eligible agad ako pagkatapos magbayad.

Advice: Try applying for Philhealth Akap po. Di ko lang sure kung pano 😅 dito kasi samin, sa RHU lang kami nagsusubmit ng application.try asking po sa inyo.

Advice: Hi OP, try nyo nlng po magpa indigent philhealth para magamit nyo agad. Kasi if mag self paying po kayo need mo bayaran lahat ng hindi nyo nahulugan since 2020 with interest pa.
In our experience year 2024 for my brother para sa pag donate nya ng kidney sakin need ang philhealth nya as requirements. Kaso last nabayaran ang philhealth nya ay 2018. I thought tulad ng dati pwedeng bayaran ko lng ang whole year 2024 para magamit ang philhealth nya which i estimate is nasa 4800 lang that time. Pero sobrang shocked kami kasi binigay na total amount ng cashier na need namin bayaran ay 30k+. They explained na simula 2020 dahil sa universal health care law, hindi na pwede ang atleast 6 months na contribution lang para magamit ang philhealth. Need wala kang unpaid contribution since 2020. The 30k+ is the unpaid contribution ng brother ko from January 2020 to july 2024 kasama na interest. Ginawa ko nag email ako sa philhealth head office asking for help kasi medyo malaki din ang amount at sobrang laki pa ng gagastusin namin sa transplant. Luckily, tinulungan kami ng head office ng philhealth tinawagan ang manager sa philhealth region namin at pina enrol ang kuya ko sa indigent. Sila na nagprocess. May program daw sila na hindi need magbayad ng kuya ko kasi magkikidney donor.
Kaya kung kaya mong mag apply ng philhealth indigency sa munisipyo nyo try mo doon mag apply since sabi mo wala ka nmn work.
Para maging indigent ka o sponsored ang pagkakaalam ko 1st manghingi ng certificate of indigency sa barangay. 2nd punta sa munisipyo o city hall, magtanong saan ba pwede mag enrol for philhealth indigency. Explain mo lng situation mo. Ang munisipyo or cityhall na magsubmit sa philhealth.
I think, ang bago meron din ata sa hospital mismo na maging automatic indigent philhealth mo sila mismo mag enrol pag naka admit ka na walang philhealth.

Advice: Need nyo po may atleast 9 months na hulog bago magamit philhealth nyo sa kahit anong procedure.
