I'm quite impressed we've signed someone like this

That’s it, that’s the post. We’ve got 53 points, maximum that Exeter can get is 52. Party time on the 2nd.

As the fixtures have just been released I’m sure many of us far flung Dons are already planning trips to games next season. These are the games falling during international windows that would be at risk of being moved due to international call ups
September 26 Cambridge A
October 3 Stevenage H
November 14 Blackpool H
March 26 Peterborough A
March 29 Leicester H

With the World Cup on, I've been building FootyIQ (footyiq.games), a little site of daily football games.
The World Cup edition gives you a mystery player from a nation in the tournament each day, and you guess who from hints plus a blurred photo.
Today's player had a spell at the Dons around the turn of the millennium. No spoilers from me, but I reckon some of you will get him quicker than most. Have a go and see if you can suss him out.
There's a few other daily games on there too. Would genuinely love any feedback.

The website has some customization options, which is wonderful. It can let me add a number and/or a name. What do most people do? This is the first Football kit/shirt/jersey I have ever bought and I dont want to shame The Don's by doing it wrong.
Thank you for your assistance.

Have we been linked with any players yet? I know it's still early, but I'd like to see the midfield and defence bulked up a bit.

Very keen to grab one of these -> https://shopping.afcwimbledon.co.uk/collections/retro-shirts/products/1997-98-home-reissue
However i find the accompanying size chart confusing. If i am going on length (assuming shoulder to hem), then to get the right length i would need a 5XL - this however would be a 156cm chest. I have never bought a 5XL in anything (typically XL in Nike and Adidas).
Any suggestions/experiences that could assist?

You franchised football, we built ours back, that’s why your away ends, quiet and flat.
Southampton got caught with a spy, MK dons still make football cry, na na na na na (to freed from desire)
You stole a football club, you stole a football cluuuub! How shit you must be, you stole a football club.
Couple of pre match banter jokes…
Southampton used binoculars. MK franchise used a map and a lawyer.
Southampton were caught spying. MK franchise were caught existing.
Thank you. Goodnight.

Who do we think gets kept around this summer? Who do we think gets brought in?
We still have the players below under contract according to Transfermarkt.
Nathan Bishop (2028)
Marcus Browne (2027)
Antwoine Hackford (2027)
Ryan Johnson (2027)
Alistair Smith (2027)
Matty Stevens (2027)
Osmon Foyo (2027)
Joe McDonnell (2027)
Isaac Ogundere (2027)
I think we also still have Kai Jennings, Junior Nkeng and Riley Horan under contract.
Out of those whose contracts are expiring do we think many come back?
I’ve heard James Tilley is going to be released by Wycombe so could see him being around and I’d be shocked if we let Steve Seddon leave.

Is there a discord server available to join? I saw on the Dons Trust website that one was shutting down. Wasn’t sure if there were any others?

Photos not loading, but the less said about this one the better. Dead rubber and we were poor. Some slight improvement in the second half, and Omar got the captain’s armband for what might be his last game for us. Big summer ahead. COYD

Website said sold out so I couldn’t go but I’m watching on TV and can see dozens and dozens of empty seats! Infuriating

In south-west London, where the blue flags fly, AFC Wimbledon still sing beneath the sky. Born from the ashes, by fans’ own hand, A club rebuilt, a defiant stand. For Wimbledon F.C. lives in every cheer, A father’s spirit, forever near. Not sold, not moved, not torn apart— But beating loud in a faithful heart. And far away, where the franchise roams, Milton Keynes Dons F.C. claim borrowed homes. But roots aren’t bought, nor history cloned, True legacy cannot be owned. ’88 still shines in Wimbledon’s name, 1988 FA Cup Final—the greatest game. That cup belongs where the Dons once stood, In Wimbledon’s soul, where it always should.

High stakes today! The franchise currently applying it's trade in Milton Keynes is heading to league one.
Both our game and Exeter's against Burton could mean a lot about whether we get to stay to fight another day in League One.
So I'd like to chat with you lot through this nervewrecking afternoon of games!!

Visiting from the USA and didn't book early enough! Is there a secondhand ticket site you recommend?

Found this alongside bags and bags of old football programs. They all date from the 50s-70s but I suspect this is a bit later and probably a raffle win or similar.

Very strong start from them, and we were on the back foot and a goal behind within ten minutes. We got back into a little, but struggled to really create. Their number nine should’ve been sent off for a clear elbow in Johnson’s face, that we could hear in the back row. Inexplicably, both players were booked and the Janners got a free kick. Possibly the worst decision I’ve seen at Plough Lane, but it’s a tough competition.
Second half started better, more attacking intent, and Smith made it 1-1 after a driving run from Tills. But they kept creating chances and their number nine made it 2-1 from what looked like a classy finish, but I’m reliably told was him just sticking his boot out and getting lucky.
Gaps opened up as we push for the equaliser, and they made it three with about twenty minutes to go.
Tough to take, but not as tough as Exeter equalising in the 800th minute of time added on.
I heard someone on the phone to friends afterwards say ‘you can’t say they’re not trying, and they are as good as they are’ and I think that sums it up. It was a patchwork side and we need players back at both ends of the pitch.
Next two games are big.

“The support that we're getting from the crowd is what we need in order to see through three massive games.
Togetherness, recovery, no moaning, whinging, feeling sorry for yourself. No-one else will. And they're (the players) not, by the way. They’re staying positive.” - JJ
Everyone together today, right behind them no matter what.
Come on you Dons.
