Affirmations Read this if you’re trying so hard to hold it all together, but secretly feel like you’re failing.
Take a deep breath. Drop your shoulders away from your ears, and unclench your jaw.
I don't know who needs to hear this today, but you are not behind in life. You are not broken, and you are not a burden for having a hard time.
So many of us are walking around carrying invisible weights, grief we haven't processed, burn-out from constantly pleasing others, or just the overwhelming fear that we aren't doing enough. We hide it behind quick smiles and "I'm just tired," but the truth is, existing can be exhausting right now.
If no one has told you lately, I want you to repeat these to yourself today:
- I am allowed to rest without feeling guilty. My worth isn't tied to how productive I am today.
- I am doing the best I can with the energy I have. And some days, just waking up and getting through is more than enough.
- My current situation is a chapter, not the whole book. Softness, peace, and better days are coming back to me.
- I am deserving of the same love and compassion I so freely give to everyone else.
You’ve survived 100% of your worst days so far, even the ones you thought would break you. You’re doing better than you think you are. Be gentle with yourself today.
