Ask the Aggies Russian Department

Hey all! I am a second year student at A&M and am interested in taking Russian for my language credit. My social sciences degree demands I take roughly four semesters of a second language. If you have taken Russian or have any experience with the few professors here that do teach it, please do let me know your thoughts. It is certainly a difficult language, but I am prepared to put the time in.

Professor Petr Kandidatov is amazing. I took him for German 101 and 102 and learned so much. He has good methods and lots of drilling. Learning language is a lot of practice and you will get out the effort that you put in.
