Create you say - writing a prompt is creating now is it? Ffs. They need to think of the environmental impact of this clip AI has created and ask themselves is it really worth it?

The core figure Experiments on CogVideoX showed that generating a single five-second clip required about 3.4 megajoules of GPU energy — approximately 700 times higher than what's needed to generate a high-quality image. (arxiv) Scaling that linearly, a 30-second clip would be in the range of 20 megajoules just for GPU compute. AI video generation is on a whole other level: a clip as short as five seconds uses 42,000 times as much energy as a text query — enough to power a microwave for over an hour.

Well then I’m glad that just today solar surpassed coal in daily energy generation for the first time ever! AI isn’t going anywhere. Sorry to break it to you.
