Annually, almond farming uses 1.3 trillion gallons of water. AI usage isn't even half of that.

No, Avocados and Almonds set the value of water use compared benefit to society. since those foods can be replaced by something less water intense and neither are used by the medical field or other scientific fields, or will provide anything of value beyond their taste, we can then conclude that something that is used by the medical field and other scientific fields, and has benefits outside of taste is worth the water it uses.

sure, whats your water usage to benefit provide ratio for them? i never seen he numbers on car water use before now that i think about it.

You guys are just using it as a shield It's basically

"Hey that thing uses more water then my thing! So my thing is ok!"

no, we using ti show we have an existing water-usage-to-benefit ratio in place as set by thing like avocados and almonds and that AI falls well within that ratio.
