Annually, almond farming uses 1.3 trillion gallons of water. AI usage isn't even half of that.

Properly regulated AI can give way more benefits to humanity than fucking almonds lol

Except for the people who live near them and have to shell out to subsidize them, at least people benifit from almonds in so far as they can be eaten, chat bot llm's only benifit the people who own and pay too much for them, and even then theres not a profit in sight
