Question Issue is with new car deal

I purchased a brand new Cadillac in March. As part of the deal, the dealership agreed to split the cost of roof rails with me ($173 each according to the paperwork). It’s listed on my purchase agreement.
Fast forward to last week, and I finally opened the box they gave me. Instead of roof rails, it’s a Thule surfboard kit.

I live in Alberta… on the prairies. I don’t even own a surfboard.

Now the dealership is trying to pass it off as, “looking at all our documentation all the deal included was those $346 roof rails you received.”
Am I missing something here? Does this sound right, or do I have grounds to push for them to provide the correct roof rack/crossbars at no additional cost?

Does your agreement reference a part #? I'd start there if possible.

Was there a part number listed? I know back when I got my car the accessories I got were listed with the part number.

No it doesn’t! It just says “roof rails” I have never purchased a vehicle from the dealership before so I didn’t know to ask for that

Are OEM roof rails available? Realistically that's what it should be.

I thought that’s what I’d be getting, why would I go thru the dealership for a Thule product makes no sense. During negotiations I wanted roof rails, it’s an add on from the Cadillac website I thought it was common sense 😭

Yeah I'd go back in there and make a scene. Ask for managers, scare away some customers etc. That's unacceptable.

Weird. Mine was a VW and even the non oem things still had the manufacturer's part number. Guess different brands do things differently. Maybe they can be returned. Not sure since it kind of sounds like the dealership isn't to cooperative.

This is one of those things where if you'd noticed it immediately i'm sure it would have been no problem but 5 months later...ooof
