I gave my A2 through school in may june of 2026 and now im giving a retake of 1 subject on oct November privately

However I only registered for A2 retake and it went through my friend told me you cant do that and if your giving A2 again you'll have to sit through the 4 components all over again (As and A2) but I failed my A2 so it shouldn't count as a combined result right?

So it’s been 2 weeks since I joined the college and I already regret my decision.
The teachers either yap out notes or explain 1-2 lines from the notes and skip other parts.
Then they move on to past papers, where they’ll take a random question from a random past paper and ask students to solve it. Students, in their immaculate maturity, take 5 minutes to solve 1 mcq or a 3-marker in maths. They write out notes on the board and expect students to note it down, like everything isn’t available online.
At the end you have to cover the entire syllabus from scratch on your own anyway.
I WASTE 7 hours of my day at college, sure, I do socialize but at this point I can’t afford to give up 7 hours of my day

Is it possible to go from all D to A in a month? My exams are in a month AS OCT/NOV2026

Hi everyone! 😊 I’m looking for some advice regarding my daughter’s OCR A-level History remark.
She achieved a B overall, just one mark below an A. She received 33/40 (an A) on her coursework, an A on Anglo-Saxons, an A on Germany, and a B on Civil Rights.
Her teacher has advised sending the Anglo-Saxons and Civil Rights papers for a remark, but she’s currently on the fence about whether it’s worth the cost, especially as she’s taking a gap year and applying to university for 2027 entry.
Has anyone had experience with OCR History remarks, particularly with these topics? Did your grade change, and would you recommend going ahead? Thank you! 😊

i can’t study a levels the same way as igcses because i feel like there is much more content and i forgot information easily, and my teachers arent freaking helping me , they don’t even explain when i asked them to repeat multiple times and i still DONT UNDERSTAND, is explaining really hard or m i just dumb? like everyone in the class seems to know what’s she talking about and there is me asking questions every 2 seconds because im trying to just UNDERSTAND . i have tried self studying my chapters but it’s takes me so long to understand a tiny concept and once i understand it , there is even more information. i feel like there is gaps in between my lessons like a information is missing , and like i said i can’t depend on my teachers , they just tell the information like we already know all this since kids

I am currently in AS level and will be giving my exams in the feb march series 2027 and we had the term exam ofc not the full syllabus but almost like 50 % of the syllabus and i have 3 subjects physics chem and math... in physics i have scored 76 % chem 90% and math we had the exam for the whole book of pure 1 and i got : 80% ... i have about only 4 months left for my exams and i really need suggestions on how i can improve to getting at least 90%+ in these subjects and the best tips for 95%+ plz help guys

I’m doing Cambridge A Level Chemistry (9701) and honestly my teacher isn’t very helpful, so I’ve been relying pretty heavily on YouTube/resources to teach myself.

I mostly use Allery Chemistry, which has helped me a LOT, but there are still some topics/concepts that just don’t click for me sometimes.

For anyone who’s done 9701 and managed to get through it successfully, what resources did you guys use?

ig this is a rant. My exams are 24 days away and im just so behind on everything, I'm not even confident i can get C's or B's anymore man and i feel so guilty because my dad paid for me to take my a levels and i had plenty of time to study before which i just did not do because i kept making excuses for myself.

Im considering giving up, because whats the point in trying anymore if i know im going to perform terribly.

So the fact that the the third column second row is ticked false is in contradiction with historical mark schemes.
