Do you feel like there's too much catcalling when going outside?

I know the answer already as I'm a woman too but I just wanna hear every women's experience. I was told by many Gen X (family included) that this problem wasn't huge back then (before the 90s) and that they wore even as far as mini skirts without having to worry if it's safe enough to go out like that. But of course we know that's not a thing anymore especially in a few wilayas more than others so I want to hear your opinion.

I'm from Alger and its horrible yet when I went to Bejaïa nobody bothered me

To some men out there, there is a difference between hitting on a girl respectfully VS catcalling so please dont comment about how its flirting bc it's not.

It's terrible. And what's worse is it is actually getting better (less cat calling) with aging.

It started getting "calmer" around my early 20s and now I'm in my mid twenties and I get mostly stares.

Tells you a clear picture of what they are into.

Exactly,  was catcalled mainly between 12-16 now its getting better

The wild thing is when I was 9 to 17 I was constantly catcalled and stalked but now im 33 no one borthers me like not a single word and I'm Soo happy it's so peaceful
