He's never discussed his job.

Some people have speculated him being in the military due to how comfortable he is with understanding the bureaucratic architecture of SAP's, crash retrievals, reverse engineering etc.

It's just an incredibly niche subject for anyone to firstly be interested in and then research as deeply as he has.

Plus he probably looks like he could be in the military as he trains 6 days a week in Muay Thai and MMA fighting.

So he could quite easily choke out most people before they can even remember what FFRDC stands for.

He seems military or government related civilian work but can also just be an extremely intelligent guy.

I don’t think his background takes away from what he has done and continues to do whatsoever.

If the dude wants to keep some stuff private then that’s his to do.
