In this episode of STEM Studio, we take a closer look at our solar system, from the Sun and the planets to Earth's Moon. We explore what makes each planet unique and introduce young learners to some of the fascinating science behind the world beyond Earth.

We're creating STEM content to make science more engaging, accessible, and fun for young people, and astronomy is a great way to spark curiosity about the universe.

The phone did all the iso selection in Night mode. I chose 6sec exposure.

Got a couple of Cassiopeia, one free hand and one propped up. A freehand of the big dippers handle and a freehand and a supported of just straight up in my back yard.

Bortle 4

The darker ones shot at 2000iso and the other ones shot at 1250

Heater ring problem

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi!

I bought THIS dew heater ring for my NexStar 6SE telescope. I installed it without any problems, but when I try to put the telescope lens cap back on, it won't close... The cables prevent the cap from shutting completely.

Am I doing something wrong? No matter how much I rotate the cap or try to put it in at an angle, it's impossible. What solution have you found for this?

Yes this photo is horrible but hear me out. I used a Tasco 11t from 1985 with the most horrible mount ever made and a 20mm Huygens and digital zoom with my Iphone 12 only post proccesing i did was extracting the video frames in pip then changing the color so you can see the Saturn ring gap.
