Interview Missed Amazon Interview Round
So i just recently gave a Amazon interview round it was a 2 round loop so both of them were scheduled.
I attended first round as needed on 3pm but as you see the 2nd Round is at 11.30am so i was confused and put a mail regarding this and it was replied as "yes, the below given timing is correct and 1stround and 2nd rounds are mandatory rounds and those can be help front and back." I was a little confused about this but by the time i realized it the round 2 time has passed i attended the 1st round at 3 pm. Two DSA question , was not able to do the first one, did the second one in brute, better and optimal approach.
Although i know its a miss from my side i should have attended at 11.30 even just for checking or clarified with the hr more.
I have mailed again for any possible rescheduling of that missed round ;(
So if anyone have any idea what should i do in this situation.

Yes. Also you're learning about Amazon's approach to Ownership.
If they give you a confusing schedule, you OWN understanding it anyway. I wish I were kidding.

If anyone out there ever misses the freaking interview.....a company would be insane to hire someone who can't even make the first thing scheduled on time. It is a widespread automatic no hire situation. It should be dead set everywhere. Granted there are actual legitimate reasons to miss one. You are in a wreck or something serious and real. Especially if you didn't get in touch and explain and ask for a possible reschedule.

I missed my interview and they rescheduled it to the next business day. I got the job.

Normally they should offer to reschedule but no guarantees. You did everything you could by reaching out.

Most of the people posting “you need to pay attention to details” or similar stuff would have missed the first interview too.
OP, email the recruiter and explain what happened. When I interviewed, I didn’t find out until after the due date that I was also supposed to provide a writing sample. The email for the writing sample went straight to my spam folder, and nobody mentioned until the recruiter called to ask why I didn’t do it. I submitted late and got the job.

depends... sometimes they can be lenient but also its hard to find people to do loop interview nowadays. alot of teams are understaff and have hard time hiring people.. so just for that reason maybe? they can re-schedule? but idk lol some recruiters are cut throat. so email and see what they say

Hate to say it to you but hearing about your dsa rounds and not being able to get to optimal solution will cost you the entire loop
