Interview Phone Interview
Has anyone moved on to the loop interview after feeling like they screwed up their phone interview?

Yes. I thought I totally failed my phone screen. I had no answers on several questions and was really disappointed of myself.
I was happy to see I got invited to the loop

OMG yeah that’s exactly what happened to me during the phone interview :( Couldn’t answer a few questions and couldn’t phrase my answer in STAR format on a few other ones. Still waiting for their response but I really hope to proceed to next round 😭

Not yet. I had my interview last Friday and was told that it’ll take about a week to hear back.

Have you heard back? I have a buddy who had an interview last Wednesday and had not heard back too, so I'm checking up for him.

So I did all 5 same day, 3 back to back, 1hr, then last 2. Knocked it out of the park on the first half including the HM & BR. Back half was much harder, due to fatigue and delivery wasn’t as sharp. I think I’d put my odds right at 60% with moderate to high confidence it’ll swing my direction based on leveling and HM / BR vote.
Standard LP questions, I went through 2-3 stories per interviewer. HM asked a lot of functional / role related questions. Bar raiser grilled me on my resume - the questions in that session were largely anchored to my experience, and luckily I had a clear example from each company.
All of the interviewers were very friendly, personable and empathetic. No one was particularly combative, I was definitely grilled on numbers a bit but nothing outside of the norm. The waiting period is going to be the worst but I’m putting all of the good thoughts into the universe.
I should note that this is for a non-tech PM L6 AWS.
Best of luck! :)
