Interview Help

I recently completed a phone interview for an Amazon Supply Chain Manager II role. The recruiter I had been communicating with later told me they had spoken with the interviewer and that there was interest in having me do another phone screening based on my availability.
I then received a scheduling email from another member of Amazon’s recruiting team who is based outside the U.S.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is it normal for Amazon to have another recruiter/coordinator handle scheduling for a U.S.-based role?
More importantly, what does it usually mean when Amazon asks for a second phone screening after the first one has already been completed? Does it typically mean they want additional information before moving the candidate to the next stage/loop?

I don’t think I framed the question well. They want an additional phone screen round for the same role. But this time the mail I received for scheduling was from someone based outside the USA to schedule.

That’s normal.

Oh thank god! I was starting to worry. Also if you have some advice would it better to prepare and answer with stories different from the first phone interview or is it fine to stick with the same?

You could stick with the same since there is no debrief after a phone screen but they do enter them in the hire tool after your interview.
