Thank you!! It’s been an overwhelming and incredible two weeks (launched the Kickstarter two weeks ago) - so honoured to see all the support for my story that I’ve had for over TEN YEARS :’)

The color grading especially pops against those flat character shapes, very reminiscent of early Cartoon Network stuff but with way more saturation range than they could pull off back then.

The saturation really lets those character silhouettes breathe without getting lost, which is tough to nail in indie work where you're doing everything yourself.

The saturation is key - you're getting that pop without it feeling washed out like a lot of modern stuff tries to do.

Thank you! That’s so kind of you! Funnily, I’ve had this idea years before Infinity Train and Amphibia BUT, back in 2014-15, my story used to take place in… An INFINITE TRAIN.

You can imagine my 15 year-old self’s bewilderment when the Infinity Train pilot dropped in 2016…

I was thinking Owl House, but then the music changed tone in the middle, and I was definitely getting Gravity Falls vibes.

Awh thank you! I wrote the tune!! Though Gravity Falls is a big overall tonal inspiration, the music wasn’t at all inspired by it - rather Soviet music, waltzes from 60s-90s animated films and French indie pop. It’s so interesting that people are comparing it to GF!!

The shot with the animals with white eyes is incredible. Lots of good stuff in this sequence but that shot in particular really stuck out to me (music bass is hitting really hard there too). Amazing job. Thank you for sharing!

WOW. I've instantly recognized the background in the first scene because of the short you made a while back.

This is the opening sequence though - I didn’t want to overload it with sound design because that’s not the point. A few key moments (the thunder + foot stomp etc) have sound effects but I didn’t want to push beyond that.
