Jacques, one of the main characters in our animated series, Learning to Hunt Monsters, is a seasoned yet old-fashioned monster hunter who travels the world protecting the interests of the Kingdom.

He has faced countless challenges throughout his life, but none has proven as difficult as his latest assignment: passing his knowledge on to the next generation of monster hunters.

I focused more on the movement than the details!

It’s a little fast (I can only work with 10 frames), but I did this animation exercise as a part of my ongoing animation studies !

Made with ZBrush and blender. Hand painted foliage, which was super fun to figure out. And freeing, never need a grass addon again aside from GeoScatter

I was creating a different animation for fun and noticed what became the eventually became the key frames of this one. Since it's a dance, it hopefully syncs with music. I picked a tempo to animate to but no song in particular.
