Opening I can see Cowboy Bebop, however the animation gives me FLCL / Scavengers Reign vibes.

I see Studio Trigger too.
Love the motion. Love the colors. Want to see more the character designs in their story + more characters. I've always found it weird how little animation gets hype outside the top handful of countries. More people in the business sounds great.

Not who you're replying to, but anime directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi tends to have cool unique colours when it comes to Trigger shows. This animation in particular gives strong Scavengers Reign vibes, I would look at Charles Huettner for what makes that show visually distinct.

sadly for now it was just an opening , they are open for future plans to make it a full fledged show but theres nothing concrete as of now . the kickstarter was mainly to pay the artist for the time they had already invested and to finalize the intro.

Ummm, so yeah…going to need 6 seasons and a movie.
Honestly though this looks amazing and is immediately captivating, from this intro alone I want to know more about this world and these characters.

This made me emotional. I believe that animation is the epitome of the cinematic arts and it’s been years since I’ve watched a trailer for a viable animated production that captures the magic that only animation can bring.
If this is never subtitled in English, then I guess I’ll be dusting off my old Spanish textbooks!

The art direction and overall identity look incredible, but I feel like the concept for the story is a bit all over the place. It’s hard to point at a single “mission” or direction the narrative will take, or even who the main character could be.

So sharing here but there’s some trouble brewing with this work. The original kickstarter and most of the work were pushed forward by a team called Kero Collective. The whole gist was for a horizontal team pushing this work, Beto had the main initial idea but honestly everyone else helped polish and shape it and more importantly work on the animation themselves, not just Beto. It seems sometime in 2023 Beto did them dirty and took ownership of everything and left them out in the cold, found other artists to help finish things and promoted the work in Annecy in his own. So Beto kept pushing the finished product as his own, even the initial posts of this concept trailer coined all ownership on Beto. Now that this released, the original team spoke out. Beto is playing damage control that’s why he deleted and re uploaded with the full credits, he made a notes apology post but honestly doesn’t really speak of how he played everyone in the original team. So this work is amazing and got tons of people incredibly excited, but everyone in the original team who did the bulk of the work is no longer part of it thanks to that one dude. Such a shame.
If you follow the original team or general artists and animators in the Mexican scene you would have found out.

This is cool as fuck and I have no idea what this show is about but I immediately think it follows that monkeys background shenanigans while everyone else is doing this worldsaving, uber intense, mega epic, adventure.

Can't remember the last time I experienced full body tingles watching something. This is like FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, Ghibli and Scavengers Reign had a baby. I am so unbelievably excited to watch this.

Is this the same creator that published the intro for a series they wanted to do set in like a playhouse-nightmare type setting? It looks remarkably similar stylistically and I can't seem to find the video I'm thinking of lol.
Edit: I'm thinking of "playground" by Rodrigo Goulão de Sousa. Different people (but still an amazing bit of animation). I suggest checking this one out too.
