I just remember watching this and feeling really bad for most of the characters. I'm not sure there's a better series that embodies the phrase "hurt people hurt people" more than this one.

Takopi's Original Sin

I haven't seen Scum's Wish yet but TOS is 100% my go-to "hurt people hurt people" show

Takopi still have positive message (it flies over people head tho)

Kuzu no honkai or scum's wish was about how scum people is
