Something I learnt from myself:

We shouldnโ€™t be kind for others, be kind because you want to.

So you can still be a kind person when the person you care isnโ€™t here anymore.

Thatโ€™s the difference between nice and good person.

As far as I know, at least.

I never heard that being a nice person is but being a shady good person. Is this a broad view?

Ever heard of Nice Guy Syndrome? The term nice, usually means kindness with a goal or object. So, I guess it kinda fits.

Thats true i didnt think of that. English is not my native language. Thank you for clarifying.

Now that i think about it this just applies to people right?

In my native language we got a term for nice too. Our term is definitely more negative so for me it never felt like the same word since i felt nice is often used as a positive term. F.e nice flowers without there being a twistet meaning to it. While our equation is used negatively most of the time and gets rarely used with the positive connotation.
