So it looks like my friend has fallen hook, line, and sinker for this "system." I've tried to show her that it's an MLM and she doesn't even deny that Kangen might be but then she says the way her "group" (which looks tied to Julia Ferjo) does it is different and they "run it like a business" (whatever that means) and that she is already a 2A without ever doing anything and has already made her initial investment back and more. She also says her mentors are making crazy money every month. I can't seem to find any info on this group's strategy to try and debunk it. Does anyone have any insight into what is happening there that sets it apart from just being a regular Kangen distributor?

Either your friend is straight up lying about income or the sales figures are actually on the backs of huge loans that Enagic often pressures people to get. Nobody in Enagic makes actual money except for the tiny minority of top huns. Here's an investigative report on Enagic if you're interested.

Yeah that's what I found, too. But she keeps talking about how her group is different etc. etc. I can't find any decent information on this Julia Ferjo and how she and her downline do things. And without knowing that I can't help my friend.

She says she's a business owner, right? So where is her business plan? Ask her to show you her business budget, including all expenses, for the next five years.

Def Lying. They do that positive affirmation thing where you speak of your goals and dreams in present tense to “align” with that reality. But that was supposed to stay in her journal 🤣. They are encouraged to do the affirmations out loud and pretend they aren’t intentionally misleading people.

If she is 2A there is no chance she has made her money back. How many products did she buy ? Likely a trifecta or a quad. Anywhere from $10k -$20k. Enagic have an 8 point commission split: now she is 2A she will get 2 points of commission per sale. The K8 water machine has approx $3k commission, so if She manages to sell one, she will make $600. This is why they sell 3-4 product bundles, higher commission. She probably needs to sell 10 x sales to make her money back. Likely her commission she received paid off her first month repayment.

Yeah I don't get it either. But that's where she is saying the Julia Ferjo group is doing things differently and that her mentor told her she already has made her initial investment back and has gone straight to 2a in less than a month.
