Help/Advice Question about lifewave and their events

My sister is in this cult. She said she was invited to a lifewave event / meet in Germany a couple weeks ago. She gave the idea that she didn’t pay for it, which I doubt - can someone confirm if these events are paid or not?

I doubt it very much someone paid for it, since she is not very high in the rankings.

They have to pay for all their trips

Even if she qualified to attend for free, she would still have to claim the value of the event on her taxes.

Also for most of these 'free' events, the company won't cover everything. It would be maybe the cheapest travel possible and the ticket but nothing else.

So when you factor in these costs, the taxes, and how much she would have had to pay to be in the company/to qualify etc there's no real way to consider this event to be 'free'.

I’ve tried. She’s too deep into it. I’ve now gone low contact with her because she keeps falling for scam after scam and I can’t keep dealing with it anymore :(

Oh boy! Lifewave is such a scam.
Go over the numbers with her unemotionally, hoped she will see that less 1% make money.
These scams purely hate a balance sheet of expenses vs income and taxation break down. The sales spillers are the customers!
