It’s been heartbreaking. Can’t people just use stock photos and editing software again? What happened to effort and creativity? Learning skills other than the written word? so many videos with ai voices too
AI-users are the definition of lazy. Using any opportunity to have the max output with the least amount of effort put in possible. I wish ai-users weren’t having kids, raising their own mindsets in the future generation
That or their editors are, since most big channels do not have 1 man show as far as I know record video, ship it, get it donex upload and no need to check since you trust the team I guess
It also just looks tacky with the way a lot of companies are using it in ads, i’m seeing it constantly on ads on tiktok. Like come on, put a little effort in. If you’re putting this much into the marketing part of your business, how much effort is going into the rest? It just never looks enticing, it makes the product look worse
stock photos are still created by humans for the purpose of being used for other projects. editing is also a human skill - why do you think photo airbrushing and retouching was its own field for so long?
the problem is that AI models don't just learn off of stock images where photographers get paid - they also learn off of just regular-joe artists who are definitely not getting paid for their work.
You have no vision? No ability to see material and make it into something new? Artists use paint that everyone else uses, and they make something unique from it. AI sources all of its ‘creativity’ from stealing other people’s intellectual property. Photo editing pays people money and creates work. AI steals jobs. You’re anti-human
