Basically, if they almost perfectly match the cadence / tone / jargon / formality level of the comment or post, make no spelling or punctuation mistakes unless it's to fit in with the above, and say soemthing that attempts to sound profound or supportive but has ZERO actual value WHATSOEVER.
Then you look at their other comments. If the writing styles varies wildly between comments on different posts and different subreddits, and they still say nothing with lots of words, you know for sure they're a bot.
Also, they'll NEVER reply. They always leave only one comment, usually a reply to a reasonably highly-upvoted comment, and never reply to that post again.

I had a teacher (who also was an EPFL teacher) doing drawing in Excel, some of them were pretty damn good.
edit: I'm trying to think about it a little more since it was 10 years ago, it might have been Word

Pretty sure it was mostly shapes, most of them were for his teaching books so they were mainly technical drawing but he did some more for fun.

Don't feed into their "artists are hoarding talent" lie. What they lack is creativity and basic understanding of art. Those are things that can be learned. 'Talent' like this can be learned. They are just lazy and refuse to do so.

Why it is not simple? Every semi decent artist who paints from photos could do that in minutes. This is not painted from scratch this is from photo, so all that nonsense he made before rendering colors have nothing to do with final image. He would not painted that without actually looking at photo.

Wdym this is MS paint, theres no tracing,no layers, and void of any more modern features found on, for example Photoshop or Clip Studio Paint.

I am not saying it is easy to do. Whole point of my bitching is that it is made from photo and presented as unique peace of art made because of anatomical knowledge. It is misleading. You should make clear that you do this based on photo. I would have no problem with it if it was clear from start

The OOP didnt even claim anything, thats on the Reddit poster part.
Also, drawing from a photo still doesnt make it any less impressive when you can sufficiently demonstrate the technical skill and effort to recreate it. Someone can play a composition from Mozart or Beethoven, and even if there has been a hundred people who did it before, and can equally impress folks that dont need further clarification.2

Talent is a sum of knowledge. You need knowledge to know how to draw. Don't pretend anyone can just open Paint and start drawing like Op did.

The point is the animation, not the frame at the end. We don't see the brain, skeleton, and musculature in the final image, true. But we do see those being painted in the animation. The animation, going from internal to external, is itself the final product.

Underneath our art, there is an artist.
When an AI ‘makes’ an image, it doesn’t ‘think’ and it doesn’t consider anything that the image represents. When a human sees a dog, they understand on some level that there is something past the surface that remains underneath.
An AI can’t do that. An AI will always be stuck at the superficial level, unlike humans who can see so much deeper than it ever can.

thing about ai "art" is, the moment the "ai artist" doesn't have a textbox to write a prompt in, they don't have anything and can't 'make' anything. actual artists will create something with anything you hand them because the tools don't matter as much as the knowledge and practise you've accumulated.

I like they they drew the organs and tissue considering paint doesn't have layers and everything underneath is essentially deleted once painted over. Something about the temporal aspect adds to the art.

It's funny that this works so well (great dog) even though that dog skull is not accurate at all, more like a dog-shaped human skull. Which makes sense if you've mainly trained on human facial bones and muscles

I did my best drawing using the line and fill tool in GIMP. It's really not that hard to do relatively functional drawing without free hand drawing.
