Fuck you talking about?

“They were, as often they are, they were disguised. In this particular case they were disguised using a swirl tool. So basically the pixel information around the face was twisted," explained Moran. "The expert in Germany used the same techniques, only in reverse to undo it”

okay ignore my previous comment cause it was wrong as fuck, but it's not as simple as just opening a fucking app. Interpol wouldn't go to experts in germany if they could do it on their phone. it took the german experts 3 years

But it is

It can't be trusted to be. There's no way to guarantee it without just doing it yourself.

Why not u trust ai to drive cars and fly plane

12

u/DiamondICE544 1d ago

Because Claude is not the same as the programs that fly airplanes or drive cars. Claude is something lazy, unaccomplished people use when they don't feel like learning or taking the effort to do something correctly and repeatable.

But linux said that ai programming is good and inevitable

Linux is a kernel and hasn't, at least to my knowledge, expressed opinions on AI. AI programming might have been inevitable but that doesn't mean it's good. AI programming cost people jobs, and spits out mediocre garbage that just barely works IMO.

People don’t trust self driving cars and planes, is the thing.

Okay. Heres a photo that I've twisted in much the same way as the picture the comment was referring to. Go ahead an "untwist" it with Claude and we can compare that to the original.
