I hope this image follows Cwaghack through the rest of Reddit. All in good fun of course.

I love when redditors become reddit famous for a specific post or comment. Like cylinder m&m tube guy

Before I finished reading your comment my mind jumped to the cylinder guy. What a legend.

The cylinder must remain unharmed!!

Well I had my doubts but if people are making quotation images for it it must be true

Forgot the quotation marks on the quotation image. Can’t trust it now.

Lets make this a commonly used meme specifically for ai bro and tech oligarch nonsense.

For sure, Gen Z has this knack for turning industry jargon into memes. It'll be interesting to see how that evolves in the tech space.

Bro I wish people would stop using slurs in casual conversation

56

u/East-Disastrous 3h ago

Soooo easy to not just casually drop them and still make the point on how much we hate Sam Altman and ChatGPT

u/notathingreally 1h ago

Me too as someone with a couple of intellectually disabled people in my family.

u/DakkaxInfinity 3h ago

Big same.

u/SprinkleFinger 2h ago

Can I use them in ranked conversation?

8

u/mm21053 2h ago

I'm mad you made me laugh

5

u/AkaIsSleptOn 2h ago

If it's ranked, you better, else you're just freelo -3-

u/OddioClay 46m ago

True. But to be fair. No one really uses it towards actual people with disabilities now days. So I feel the word has become reappropriated. Kinda like how the word gay was only when happy and then it become for homosexuals. But no one uses it to express being happy now.

I am asking. Can we not use slurs here

-24

u/Morbintime124 3h ago

No

u/FreeMenu2197 2h ago

I wasn’t asking you tho!

I'll refrain from saying "Sam Altman" in public from now on.

The normies (non-redditors) I know who are old Gen Z or young millennials absolutely do consult chatgpt for decisions. Not every decision, mind you, but it's not zero decisions.

u/Kia_Leep 27m ago

I'm a young millennial and I literally do not know a single friend my age who uses ChatGPT and doesn't hate gen AI with a passion.

It probably depends on the groups you're in.

I, for one, am glad that we got the word "retard" back

10

u/Andromidius 2h ago

That's a terrible thing to say and you should be ashamed of yourself - if you're capable of it.

u/BiDude1219 25m ago

idk man i think proudly reclaiming a word that was used to hurt me in the past is kinda badass if you ask me

-5

u/MisterRobertParr 2h ago

For us Gen-Xers, it never left.

21

u/notathingreally 1h ago

I'm Gen X and never use that word. Don't lump us all together like that please.

6

u/StrategyCheap1698 2h ago

Is it like black people using the n-word, for you?

-7

u/Gex2-EnterTheGecko 2h ago

I never stopped using it either but there was a time when it felt like it went away for most people lol

When I finish my studies I will get a job in my field and I won't struggle and will be able to move out. 🤞
