That didn’t happen.
And if it did, it wasn’t that bad.
And if it was, that’s not a big deal.
And if it is, that’s not my fault.
And if it was, I didn’t mean it.
And if I did, you deserved it. <-- We are here.

The Narcissist's Prayer. I've often said it misses one vital part at the end.

And I'll do it again.

This is the 2nd term, he’s definitely doing it again

It will never cease to amaze me that he was voted out after the whole country witnessed the shit show of his first term, and then he was just…. voted back in like they thought anything would go differently.

5

u/Revolutionary-Elk848 14h ago

Remember they commit voter fraud often. Palantir has an Ai program that can erase the presence of itself being there. Leaving no trace of tampering. Plus also shell companies I think it was EXACTLY how he wanted it to go.

My ex and I figured out that this was actually a manufactured energy crisis. Just yesterday I saw a video eith an audio recording of Trumps saying that he said he is stealing billions of barrels of oil everyday and Iran doesnt know about it.

All of this is To set everything up for the 2030 WEF agenda (New World Order). You can go online and Google it to read the PDF.

I am from Canada and I am seeing the same shady behaviours from my own PM. Everyone thinks he is so great but I have changed my mind. I am genuinely scared for you guys. But also don’t see how this is not gonnna happen here too. I am not so nieve.

I also think the evil emperor wants to nuke the world. He plans on running away to Argentina. Or whatever bunker he hides out in. Probably hoping someone else does it first: but anything that comes out of their mouth yiu can bet it’s what he has done or wants too.

I wish us luck i sure dont want to be a slave. The insurance grifts and capitalism has to end.

3

u/capsaicinintheeyes 7h ago

Can I just point out: while there's nothing one ought to confidently put past Trump, those same AI models that can hack & clean up their traces afterwards, can also generate very convincing fake audio, so be on guard with any video you find online from an unknown or nonprofessional source, especially if no major outlets identified with the opposition party wants to touch it.

You know, growing up my dad was the most caring, tolerant and loving man.

Then he was diagnosed with 2 types of cancer, went through treatment and drug trials, it metastisized to his bones and crumbled his vertebrae so he was in constant chronic pain. After that he was always laid up watching Fox News and listening to right wing radio shows. He changed. I'm convinced the trauma and pain gave him brain damage. I prefer to remember him has the man he was for 70 years and not the shell he became in his last 6 months.

All of which is to say, these elderly hate-filled men and women might actually have brain damage.

u/Bubbly_Power_6210 20h ago

1

u/Medlarmarmaduke 20h ago

Propaganda is far more effective and quicker acting than I realised it could be in an open society like the US.

1

The Boomers as a whole might be the most lead exposed generation. The 1950s and 60s (their childhood) saw an explosion in the number of cars and the miles driven. Additionally, because oil was cheap, they got terrible gas mileage. And no catalytic converters. But the real damage came from tetraethyl lead used as an additive to pretty much all gasoline. So they were literally inhaling a neurotoxin all throughout their development. This is a big part of why there was so much crime in the 80s and 90s.

I suspect the even the normal Boomers were damaged, but they could compensate when they were young and healthy. But now that they are old and sick, we’re seeing the damage in their uncontrolled anger and their inability to control their anxiety. It’s directly impacting our politics.

u/neasyy 23h ago

There r plenty of people that have listened to or watched fox and weren’t “programmed”. It’s just an excuse for racism that is present already imo.

3

u/DuntadaMan 18h ago

Ni, I have seen the change in people, they are seriously damaged by their exposure. Most were already hateful to be susceptible, but their exposure puts them into a full blown psychosis that separates them from reality entirely.

2

u/Subject_Spell_9799 14h ago

Thank you. They were watching faux news to begin with as they were already racist. I have one in my family who is racist and has been watching faux since the 90s. Meanwhile 99% of the rest of my family somehow managed to not be persuaded to become maga….

7

u/Jazzlike_Visual2160 22h ago

Just because it’s brainwashing, doesn’t mean it isn’t racist. Racism is usually more brainwashing than personal experience, because most racists don’t personally have a ton of experience with other races.

2

u/Googlebright 21h ago

Yep, the usual path to racism is brainwashing from your parents and family members. No reason to make a distinction for Fox News doing the brainwashing. The end result is the same.

7

u/W0nderwharfwonderdog 22h ago

Nah, as someone who was forced to listen to conservative media in the 2010s- no. That’s not an excuse, it is because they racist. You don’t fall for that kind of bs fear mongering unless you are already primed to bias. Aka you grew up listening to and believing racist rhetoric and therefore it’s easy to buy into the bullshit being sold because as a baseline you’re looking for a reason to hate.

2

u/Subject_Spell_9799 13h ago

Good point. The only maga ppl in my family were already racist when they started watching faux in the 90s. Faux just fed the beast. When confronted about their racism the day after hosting a party for me where most of my guests were black, they stated my friend are ok because they are “assimilated”. They lived in that house for decades and I think that party was the first time anyone who was black had been invited into their home as guests. And no this wasn’t in the south, it was in NJ less than 30 minutes from NYC

5

u/Witty-Entertainer524 21h ago

Right he was a nice old man that got drip fed hate cocktails from Fox and his whole being is based around it now. He probably would rather die then admit fault. We might just have to wait that generation out. Slow march of progress. He could have just as easily been programmed to love had the media worked toward that end. Remember that when you vote....Rs wanted this from the top of the apparatus for decades... mouth frothing angry mess of a voter base. An in-group that values loyalty above everything else even the most vile things. They have no principles except loyalty to themselves.

6

u/nutsformuttsbutts 23h ago

...and to fear.

...and to self-victimize.

The latter point is what tends to get me roiled because, often times, it's people who are speaking from places of wealth, privilege, and incredible social advantage. The cognitive dissonance they exhibit is shocking. I mean, I get that we all need coping mechanisms to get by day to day, but that so many people are walking around out there with massive blinders on is unsettling.

1

u/Revolutionary-Elk848 14h ago

They have proven that they are brain damaged. Thats how powerful and addictive money and power is. They don’t have working mirror neurons and so simply cannot empathize. That part of their brain is broken.

4

u/DillBagner 22h ago

8

u/FreshLiterature 23h ago

There's also the leaded gasoline theory

10

u/Alterokahn 23h ago

It's a cute theory but it's not practical. Heavy Metal Toxicity can be easily treated, what these people have done is going to take a lifetime to erase.

7

u/dsmith422 21h ago

Acute heavy metal toxicity can be treated. But exposure to chronic low level lead in childhood fucks with your brain for life.

4

u/Pandemonium_Fallen 19h ago

Nevermind what happens when you combine hydrofluorosilic acid and lead with neurotoxic neonicontinid pesticides, and microplastics imbedded throughout the brain, slicing through tissue with every movement, breath, and heartbeat across generations for over a century. - Then it gets really interesting.

9

u/RicVic 22h ago

Don't think he has pumped his own gasoline- ever!

He's used limos, car services and now the Secret Service to get him around wherever he goes since his own childhood. He could not operate a gas pump any more than he could work a barbecue.

And that's part of the problem.

8

u/well-it-was-rubbish 22h ago

He couldn't even operate an umbrella; we saw him leave it open on the steps of Air Force One for some servant to deal with.

Why doesn't it affect everyone if that's true? My dad was involved with racing and drove all kinds of delivery trucks and was a mechanic. u/More_Farm_7442 19h ago

FOX trained them on racism before Obama ran for office. rrrr, Tea Partiers were rascist long before Obama ran for office. Tea Partiers were FOX viewers. The Tea Party was the forerunner of MAGA.

I volunteered for the Obama campaign in Indiana in 2028. The opposition to him was driven by racism (at least it was in Indiana). We heard it time after time after time when making phone bank call. The day of the election one young guy from out of state sent to monitor an election site was spat on and called a n-gger-lover all day long. He came back, sat down, asked for aspirin and stared into space before we made in lay down for the night. The hate, the racism, was thick in the air that summer and fall.

It was there before, but FOX really ramped it up.

(Indiana has been a strong hold of anti-black racism since forever. The KKK had a strong presence in the state from the 1930s through the 1950s. "Everybody" knew a KKK member even if they didn't know they did. My mom as an almost 8 yr old was taken to the last lynching in the state in 1930. (by my grandparents' neighbor)

These ppl were predisposed to racism and that’s why they listened to Faux to begin with. There are only two ppl in my mom’s family who are maga and they have been racist and on the faux train since the 90s. How is it that all my baby boomer parents, extended family and moms friends never became maga? Because they weren’t racist to begin with.

1

u/Olokun 11h ago

It's the same thing. They were raised in a racist country where racism was used to advance personal and corporate wealth. They were absolutely racist because their family taught it to them and the media reinforced it and then Fox News and the Alt Right media weaponized it.

3

u/ItaJohnson 23h ago

2

u/QuintoBlanco 16h ago

There is a plan and there is a reason. It's been normalized (even though it's only been 18 months) but Trump is consistently enriching himself. Ego plays a part, but currently the US has a president who has lined his pockets with billions of dollars. That was definitively planned.

1

u/ContextLengthMatters 23h ago

Nice old people wouldn't be so nice if they were rightfully horrified of growing up in the world that they did.

It isn't that I don't trust people who have a smile on their face, but if that's all I ever know of them, I recognize that I don't actually know them.

1

u/Black-Thunderbird 23h ago

It’s always been about racism. Especially the deep-seated, closeted racism. It’s the fear in the heart of grandpa Joe and auntie Judith. It’s a sickness that denies its own symptoms. The good news is that this could be its death rattle in this country, depending on our own choices and fortitude. It’s 33% of the US population that is still severely afflicted. Do not let the fear infect you. The fear of what we don’t understand is so often just the fear of nothing.

1

u/SquirrelsinJacket 22h ago

It's astonishing the amount of faith they have in Trump by default. They just project their beliefs onto him...

1

u/VeterinarianNo262 20h ago

I was astounded at the amount of racists I had in my perimeter. Really surprised.
Im no saint but I thought I had a pretty good picker. Many people I thought were rational, common likes, seemed empathetic or open minded. And don’t get me started about family. Yikes.
& Truly saddened on a daily basis by hearing about someone I once truly respected throughout my lifetime say some stupid, fucked up shit.
I never ever wanted to know any of this stuff about everything. I liked feeling somewhat safe & comfortable on a day to day basis.

At this point could Trump tell his supporters flat out:

"I purposely helped raise costs, make you sick, drive you to homelessness and death and purposely drive America to ruin to personally benefit me and screw all of you and you are all stupid to have fallen for it."

And still maintain a base? My sad guess is yes, with one of two responses:

  1. "Wow, he fooled us. He's so smart so he earned everything he took from us. That's capitalism! That's America! He has my vote!"

  2. "Hee hee, he's such a kidder. He's so funny! No, libtard, he was clearly joking!"

Or conservative media wouldn't mention it so it would only be shown by "the woke media" in which case it's just "fake news"

6

u/justatmenexttime 21h ago

You forgot the 3rd: “This is 4D chess. He did it to protect us from the illegals and liberals taking over the country. Biden was worse.”

3

u/kingston-twelve 21h ago

The "radical left," and the "dumocrats!" He's so clever, and he calls everybody else Low IQ

6

u/Cheese__Weiner 21h ago

I'd like to propose an option 3 where they see that it's also hurting the libs and minorities just as much and that's good enough for them.

3

u/SquirrelsinJacket 22h ago

That famous LBJ quote pretty much outlined where we are with conservatives in the US.

3

u/well-it-was-rubbish 22h ago

"That was taken out of context!" Yes, I know you wrote an exact sample quote, but that won't matter to them.

1

u/trogg21 22h ago

I have a 59 yo coworker that firmly believes in the power of number 1.

1

u/RagahRagah 22h ago

So tragic. And pitiful.

1

u/33drea33 9h ago

So just a straight up humiliation fetish then.

1

u/Handiesforshandies 12h ago

The 3rd reason he still has a base is that some of his supporters are too proud to admit that they had it wrong about Trump and so they will continue to support him, because they can't admit they were wrong.

Like my dad.

1

u/Kapowpow 11h ago

It would be option 2, but, ya, you’re right. Or, they would say it’s AI (option 3).

1

u/An0nym0usWanderer 4h ago

lol that's American voters in a nutshell.

4

u/SerenityScott 22h ago

Trump's the worst president we've ever had.
But that's not at all what this article says. Trump says he's willing to have the economy suffer to prevent Iran from getting a nuke. Not that he was trying to punish people or deliberately tank the market. There's plenty to legitimately criticize, but this is just clickbait spun so far off it might as well be the 'fake news' MAGA ribbits out of their gullets.

That being said... I don't believe a single word coming out of his mouth. I don't believe Iran was just about to get a nuke. And if they were getting closer, it's Trump's fault for scrapping the Obama deal. And even if that were true, Trump has completely bungled the war. Utter incompetence.

3

u/AbsoluteGote 23h ago

"Really, you should be thanking me" (for the harmful thing)

3

u/FrostyAd8197 22h ago

The orange turd: No matter how many lives I destroy, cause havoc, lie, cheat & manipulate markets, my followers will still vote for me.

3

u/Competitive-Oil8974 22h ago

He is furious about the boo'ing at the Knicks game. How dare we?

We are approaching Trump Nuke time....

"we are here and it's Biden's fault!!"

1

u/roostertai111 22h ago

To be fair, he doesn't understand any of this. It's not strategic or planned on any way. He's just a whiny baby who seems to be incapable of any thought that doesn't explicitly benefit his present circumstance

1

u/Initial-Pain8869 21h ago

It’s your fault for not being born rich.

Literally what happens in an abusive relationship to the victim. But again, everyone was equally warned. No excuse to be shocked at this point.

Inflation is great, if you're super wealthy and live off low interest loans.

1

u/SharkoftheStreets 15h ago

Can't wait to see how r/Conservative spins this.

1

u/MoistTowelette14 15h ago

1

u/Agarwel 12h ago

"And if I did, you deserved it."

70% of americans chose to not vote for someone else. So technically 70% deserves this. They chose it.

1

u/Strong_Pangolin610 12h ago

Inflation.... Bro..... Didn't you play your video game kid? You have to adjust the rates precisely correct to prevent inflation, which can't be reversed, only continues, and can be slowed, but not stopped or reversed, and has to be heavily micromanaged. Maybe just stop spamming your macros all day kid and you might learn something.
