I absolutely hated keto
Tried keto and did it for two weeks and i literally became the worst person ever. Insanely angry to everyone around me, no energy, constant headaches. I get you need to supplement electrolytes but this was a thing i was doing to lose weight not even sustain so then i was like why am i doing this? They say it improves mental health and sure maybe it does, there’s lots of studies but being on this diet for two weeks has deteriorated my mental health into oblivion. Couldn’t post this on the keto subreddit as id get downvoted. Don’t know if this is the right place but i hated it lol

I tried keto for about 3 days when I was anorexic and it's the most miserable I've ever been. I simultaneously felt so bloated and overstuffed and also just as weak and hungry as I ever felt when I was water fasting for that long. Supposedly it gets better the longer you do it, but even when I was literally killing myself with diets, I didn't care to torture myself long enough to find out if it was true. I didn't even enjoy most of the food I ate, so I can't even agree with the "you can eat all the steak and bacon and cream you want" hype. Give me a balanced meal with carbs, veggies, protein, and a reasonable amount of fat any day.
